Oh my God…BOLD Austin rocked!!! Saturday night was excellent and Sunday was AWESOME!!!!!

All the actresses were spot on for both performances, relaxed, had fun with it, and gave a killer performance…Sunday, during Jillian’s moment where she recounts how special the midwife taking her into the shower was, I had tears rolling down my cheeks and my voice was cracking…it was so real for ME and the audience!

We SOLD OUT both shows and (unfortunately) had to turn 10 people away on Saturday…and since Sunday was sold out too we couldn’t accommodate them…but they learned that NEXT year they’ll just have to buy their tickets earlier than at the door!!

NO media coverage, (which really burns me!) because but GREAT audience response and verbal feedback. Had at least a half-dozen people tell me the play and our cast should be on Broadway! LOTS of MEN stopped me afterward to tell me how moving it was!!!! I LOVE THAT!!!

No post partum depression after the performances this year (we did BOLD in 2006 too!)…Just shear fulfillment!!! I spent a good chunk of this morning weeping tears of fulfillment and gratitude.

I’m VERY glad before these two performances we did a BOLD Gala performance honoring Robbie Davis Floyd, a well-known anthropologist who writes about birth. It ROCKED too!
