On September 3 BOLD organizer Celine Negrete organized a performance to raise money for the Maternity Health Center, an affiliate of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.  Maternity Health Center serves Medi-Cal women for prenatal care. Celine reports:

We had as close to a sold-out house  as possible!!  We put up at least 125 seats (and had about 20 more ready to go)...there wasn’t an empty seat to be found!  We estimate there were about 140 people. We were all pretty thrilled because we didn't really have much advance.  So, we had absolutely no idea what to expect for turnout.  I was hoping for 50-75...never imagined 140!!!!!
